I was invited to Zoo Atlanta recently to experience the Elephant Encounter, a pilot program that they will be offering to the public as an add-on to normal entry. The Zoo currently offers Panda and Komodo Dragon Encounters as well! And since my camera is never too far away…here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!

This show is the result of a collaborative effort between my friend Jerry Koepp and I. While I was in Chicago earlier this summer working on a film, Jerry and I decided to get together and do a shoot depicting the personal world martial arts fighters. Fighters are incredibly intense, bold & intimidating individuals. However once you learn who they are, you come to appreciate their straight-forwardness, sense of purpose and above all else, their honor.
The show is at CAD in the Pilsen District of Chicago on Jan. 13th from 6pm-11pm.

Below are a few of my favorite shots from a recent headshot session with Gayatri Patel. Gayatri is an actress currently residing in New York City, and has worked in Atlanta and appeared in several movies in India. We had a good time walking around the city and ended up with some great shots!

This was a pretty special shoot for me. Tanner and I were in the same classes and Music program at Georgia State University. A few years after college we ended up working together for several years at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, part of which was literally just the two of us in our department. We have collaborated in several bands and in writing music. And, AND…if that weren’t enough…I was actually there when he met his fiance, Katie!
We met on the West side of Atlanta a few Sunday’s ago for a quick shoot before having an excellent meal at JCT Kitchen!
I loved these green chairs, so after a quick moving of tables and furniture rearrangement, viola.

You may remember this adorable little girl from her second Birthday post earlier this summer. Her mom Haley contacted me about doing some Christmas family pictures, so we met up in Centennial Olympic park last Monday and had a great time and a fun shoot!

I drove down to Jackson and had lunch (two servings, of course) with one set of grandparents (and my parents), then headed to Tyrone to try and fill any remaining gaps in my stomach at my other grandparent’s house. I got home stuffed and carrying leftovers!!!
The weekend also helped me get through the several sessions I had the week before, so you should be seeing a string of posts in the next few days!
This first one highlights some of my favorite shots from the engagement shoot I had a couple of Sunday’s ago with Destiny and Chris! They are getting married at the end of March and I’m looking forward to their wedding!
For the shoot Destiny wanted to meet at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Ga.

A few weeks ago, I met the Edmonson family on the Alcovy River in Newton County at Factory Shoals Park for a family shoot. We had a great time jumping from rock to rock and they were an absolute pleasure to work with! Here are a few of my favorites!
